Before buying my very first camper, I took several trips across different countries in rental vans from Roadsurfer. If you’re curious about campervanning but feeling a little nervous about taking the leap (as I was!), I can honestly recommend them. They offer a wide range of campers in all shapes and sizes, making it easy to test out what the experience is really like before investing your hard-earned money. Renting different vans helped me figure out exactly what size and style suited me best — knowledge that proved invaluable when I finally chose my own van.

Below, you’ll find some of my travel experiences and the lessons I’ve picked up along the way. I hope they offer a little insight into this wonderful world I now love being part of.

So there she is! Finally, I'm lucky enough to have my own camper van! This has been a long time coming, and I couldn't be happier.
